Recommended Reading: January: Read Around the World

Highline College's librarians recommend materials from the library collection on a wide variety of topics.

Read Around the World

We are kicking off the new year by celebrating amazing works of fiction from around the world. Our list of recommended books highlights some of your librarians' favorite novels published internationally, as well as recent titles worth exploring. All these books can be checked out from the Highline College Library.

In addition to the physical books you can check out from the Highline College Library, we encourage you to take advantage of our partnership with the King County Library System (KCLS), which allows members of the Highline College community to access their extensive online resources, including world literature in electronic formats. More information on this partnership is linked below in the "Library Guides" box as well as the "Ebooks" tab.

We hope you enjoy these recommendations and take a minute to explore the online resources, including podcasts, videos, and websites, that may introduce you to new authors and titles for the new year!
