Computers, Printing & Copiers - For Students

Current Highline College and CWU-Des Moines students are provided with a credit each quarter to use for printing and/or copying. Students must first activate their account in order to access these funds.

If a student has used up their credit for the quarter, they may add value to their account at the kiosks in the Library (Building 25, 2nd floor) and the Academic Technology Center (Building 30) prior to printing/copying. The kiosks only accept paper U.S. currency ($1, $5, $10, $20) and do not provide change.

The Library does not provide any change for using the kiosk. Library staff does not provide kiosk refunds.

Computers (Library, Building 25, 2nd floor)

There are 74 computers available to Highline College and CWU-Des Moines students on a first-come, first-served basis in the library Information Commons on the 2nd floor. The computers have internet access and the Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Patrons may transfer documents to and from portable devices such as a USB memory drive.

There is no charge to use the computers, but there is a charge for printing or copying, see below.
