Political Science 101 Assignment

In a 3-5 page paper, with footnotes and a bibliography, describe the government of a country other than the United States.

• How is it structured?
• What are its apparent strengths and weaknesses?
• What political and economic issues does this country face?
• How is the government dealing with these issues?
• Does its structure help or hinder its ability to address those issues?

Step one:
Pick a country, any country other than the United States (and not the country you're from.

Step two:
Please submit at least five sources you will use for your government description paper. For each source, include a description, specifically

• Author
• Title
• Publication date
• Page numbers (for articles and/or specific weblink/web address

Describe something about the source:

• Who wrote it?
• What are their qualifications?
• Does this seem to be a legitimate source about the government and politics of this country?

Step three (Due May 21):
Submit an outline of your government description paper. It should be at least a page long, and cover the points you hope to address in your paper. 

Step four:  (Due May 28):
First draft (3-5 pages, with footnotes and a bibliography):
