Building Trust in Marginalized Communities during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Mythbusting the Infodemic
Our research project is discussing the dangers of disinformation and misinformation which is characterized by the intentional and unintentional spread of incorrect information that can often be fatal. We find it important to build trust within marginalized communities because myths create heightened anxiety and distrust of medical officials.
