Are you interested in learning about Data Literacy?

This month's Recommended Reading guide explains what data literacy is and how knowing about it benefits you. It provides titles of books in the Highline Library and links to online resources including videos, articles, free courses, and more.

Federal Government Documents

The Highline College Library is a member of the U.S. Federal Depository Library Program. This program, managed by the Government Publishing Office, allows anyone to access vast amounts of information from U. S. Government agencies and departments.

This includes:

• information on health, careers, business opportunities, the military, science, technology, travel, nutrition, and more
• access to digital Government information resources
• historical publications dating back to the early days of the United States

As a virtual depository, the Highline College Library provides electronic access to these resources. If you have any questions or need help finding the information you want, please contact a Highline reference librarian.

Check out the library's print magazines!

Did you know that Highline library has print magazines such as Consumer Reports, Sports Illustrated and Vogue?  Instead of buying them, stop by the library on the 2nd floor to browse them, or you can check them out.
