Poetry Books in the Library

April is

National Poetry Month was inaugurated by the Academy of American Poets in 1996. Over the years, it has become the largest literary celebration in the world with schools, publishers, libraries, booksellers, and poets. Highline College Library offers our recommended reading list. You can find these materials on our Recommended Reading display rack on the Plaza Level of the library.

Poetry Month Event Schedule

All events are free and open to the public. They will be held on Highline’s main campus. The Library Exhibits and Art Gallery (Building 25, 4th floor) is open Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; and Sunday, 2–9 pm.
