There are sixty-four computers available to patrons on a first-come, first-served basis in the library Information Commons. Highline Community College and Central Washington University students doing college related work have priority on using the computers. The computers have internet access and the Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Patrons may retrieve documents from portable devices such as a USB memory drive.

There are two computers with scanners, accessibility software and adjustable tables available to patrons with an obvious physical disability or who present a Letter of Accommodation from Access Services. Both computers have the following accessibility software installed:

• Jaws 7.0 (Reads content as it is displayed)
• ZoomText 8.1 (Allows adjusting screen magnification)
• Kurzweil 1000 ( Allows user to scan in documents and have them read electronically)

One also has Kurzweil 3000 (Allows user to scan in documents similar to 1000, but much more reading and learning assistance)
